CALCIUM – INTRODUTION 2
Many years ago I discussed this subject with a well-known chemist in Davos, Switzerland. This man had great experience in the manufacture of calcium milk and other calcium preparations and declared that he had been swamped with orders from doctors since it became common knowledge that calcium milk played an important part in the treatment of pulmonary diseases. Yet he pointed out that this remedy was of little or no use, for in order to be assimilated, the calcium would have to come from a natural source, from plants. Now this chemist, a professional man of the ‘old school’, told me this years ago, yet he was evidently a man who could think ‘biologically’, or ‘organically’. And it was his sincere conviction that strengthened me in my resolve to obtain calcium in a form that the body would be able to assimilate, so that calcium deficiency could finally be overcome.
This resolve led me to produce calcium from plants, especially from the fresh green stinging nettle. I can say that I succeeded in manufacturing a calcium preparation the body can readily absorb. A well-balanced combination with other triturated biochemical calcium salts has led to the calcium complex Urticalcin, which has given thousands of people exactly what could be expected from a natural organic calcium preparation. However, let me point out that nobody should come to depend on any preparation, for the purpose of the advice given in this book is to make the reader aware of what he can do to help himself without them.
